A guide to get / unlock each boost

Cooking Cape

Cooking cape can be purchased for 99,000 coins from Head chef at the Cooks’ Guild by players who have achieved level 99 Cooking

Loach

Can only be received at random when trading with gourmets in the Dorgesh-Kaan marketplace

Chef’s delight

Members can make Chef’s delight via the Cooking skill by brewing it at either of the breweries in Keldagrim and Port Phasmatys

1. Use 2 bucket of water on the fermenting vat
2. Use 2 barley malt on the fermenting vat
3. Optional: Use 1 the stuff on the fermenting vat, increasing the chance to mature the ale from 5% to 36%
4. Use 4 chocolate dust on the fermenting vat
5. Use 1 ale yeast on the fermenting vat
6. Wait 1–5 days until the beer has fermented
7. Use 8 beer glasses on the completed ale in the fermenting vat

Mature Chef’s delight

Members can make Chef’s delight via the Cooking skill by brewing it at either of the breweries in Keldagrim and Port Phasmatys

Spicy stew (Orange spice)

Requirement: Spicy stews are available only to those who have completed the Freeing Evil Dave subquest in Recipe for Disaster

These are the steps to make Spicy Stew

  • First, obtain a regular stew
  • Get the spices
    • Get a cat (or hellcat) to chase the hell-rats
    • Go to Evil Dave’s basement in the house west of the Edgeville bank
    • Using a cat (wily is best) to attack the hell-rat behemoths. These will always give a 4 dose of the specific colour spice they are guarding
  • Add up to 3 doses of a colour spice to the regular stew to get a spicy stew

Skill Boost Range:

  • -1 to +1: x1 dose
  • -3 to +3: x3 dose
  • -5 to +5: x3 dose

Locations of each Spice:

  • Red: Northern-most Room
  • Orange: North-western Room
  • Yellow: South-western Room
  • Brown: Southern-most Room

Skills Affected:

  • Red: Combat Skills > Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Magic
  • Orange: Production Skills > Smithing, Crafting, Fletching, runecraft, Construction, Firemaking, Cooking
  • Yellow: Character Development > Agility, Hunter, Slayer, Thieving, Prayer
  • Brown: Resource Skills > Woodcutting, Farming, Fishing, Mining, Herblore
